Brekkie Cereals - then and now
My breakfast cereals used to come with e-numbers, toys and stickers to put on your bike, now their filled with diet books, drop a jean size "challenges" and sugar free "goodness".

Maybe I'll switch back to coco pops or weetos for old times sake :-)

Iran : Thunderer drips info on Military Options
This article is quite interesting, as it shows just how far down the road "we"(the Little Satan) are to the next conflict.

You get the feeling that the whole Iran Nuke saga script has already been written we just have to sit back and hold on tight.

"they're only jokes, they can't hurt anyone"
So said Bill Hicks after being canned from Letterman after religious extremists complained. Now we have the situation where a few cartoons in a tiny paper in a tiny country cause massive outrage with the Muslim nutters (note, not all Muslims, just the nutters).

They find the scribblings of one man offensive? I find the nutters Islamofacisim offensive, I think their attitudes to women and kaffirs is medeval.
I find arseholes demonstrating, on UK streets, with banners in support of Bin Laden, 911 and 7/7 a kick in the fucking teeth.

But...

I don't go and boycott the nearest Muslim shop (the guy is sound), burn the Koran or threaten to kidnap Muslims. The problem is extremists taking advantage of the freedoms here but trying to block others legitimate expression of their own. Instead of protesting about a few scribbles, lets see Muslims get angry about Al Queda, suicide bombers and hostages being beheaded.

Is Islam a religion of peace? It doesn't look very peaceful to me sitting here in the "House of War" as the British government does their best Neville Chamberlain impression

  Sympathy Pains
Ouch, K has cut her finger and is getting it seen to just now at Casualty.
I'm stuck in work for another hour but I think I've got sympathy pains in my right index finger for her.

  Tracked by your mobile
Check out: http://www.guardian.co.uk/g2/story/0,,1699080,00.html
A guy finds out how easy it is to track someone by having access to their phone for 5 minutes.

And if this is available to Joe Punter, what's available to the government?

Might be good for tracking your kids if they are turning into neds though I suppose...
